The International Jewish Committee for Interreligious Consultations joins the President of Israel, Mr. Isaac Herzog, and Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in deploring the horrendous vandalizing of the Protestant cemetery on Mount Zion. This act of desecration is an unacceptable affront to both the living and the dead; the perpetrators should be brought to justice. We express our solidarity with the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem and the Middle East, and around the world.
